Speech Meet

April 2ndat 1:30pm in the TLC Auditorium
1st-5thgrade
TLCS students participate in the ACSI Speech Meet annually. Every child selects
a verse, poem, or short fable to memorize. Then, students in each class are
judged and selected for the school-wide competition. Winners from that
competition move on to the county-wide Speech Meet at Baymonte in Scotts
Valley.
This
year, we would like to have a non-competitive Kindergarten Speech Meet as well.
Kindergarten Speech Meet on April 2nd at 1:30pm in
the TLC Auditorium.
All
parents and family members are invited to attend. In your child's folder you
will that your child has selected a verse from this list or poem he or she is
interested in memorizing. Please help your student practice at home.
