Week One's focus!

Miss Rickabaugh’s 4^th grade

Weekly News

August 24-26th

Language Arts: We are doing our pre-assessments and focusing on writing.

Math: We are reviewing multiplication facts and introducing Chapter 1; which consists of place value.

Bible: Daily we do a devotional, take prayer requests and pray. We are introducing our year’s verse.

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

This verse is going to help launch us on our year of adventures!

History/Social Studies: This week’s focus is our classroom community.

Science: We will be starting the curriculum next week. J

Spelling: No spelling list this week.

Dates to remember:

September 1: Back to School Night—6:30-8:00pm. There are two identical presentations you only need to attend one. This is an event for adults only.

September 5: No School: Labor Day

September 30: Minimum Day: Dismissal is at noon. Crosswalk is open till 6pm. Teacher In-service day.
