Weekly News
March 7-11th
Social Studies/ Community: This week will be focusing on times past.
Science: We will be looking at plants and how they grow as well as what they need.
Language Arts: We will be focusing on the letter J. We will be learning how to write it with capital and lowercase within our writing lines. We will be discovering words that start with the letter J, or have the sounds at the end or middle.
Our sight words this week are my, all, am. We have learned a lot of words. Please be practicing. Our list is quickly growing!!! Remember that sight words are words that the student’s must see and know. They do not follow normal patterns (ie. sounding them out).
Bible: We are learning about Jesus chooses helpers and focusing on Psalms 100:3a. We will be singing songs, reading the Bible, doing daily devotions and praying as well as working in our workbooks.
Math: We will be finishing our time and money chapter.  What are the coins? What are they worth? How do we add them together? What time is it? What does the hour hand point to?
