Weekly News

Social Studies/ Community: This week will be focusing on respect and Easter.

Science: We will be continuing to look at plants and how they grow as well as what they need. We will be starting our insect unit.

Language Arts: We will be focusing on the letter Y. We will be learning how to write it with capital and lowercase within our writing lines. We will be discovering words that start with the letter Y, or have the sounds at the end or middle.

Our sight words this week are where and did. We have learned a lot of words. Please be practicing. Our list is quickly growing!!! Remember that sight words are words that the student’s must see and know. They do not follow normal patterns (ie. sounding them out).
