Wow this week has gotten ahead of me...
Ok so yesterday was Monday and we started off the week with our new sight words: is and make, as well as our letter Cc. We are talking about Halloween and Harvest this week. We have been focused our our writing skills as well with completing a full and complete sentence! Our journals are looking better and better each day.
Today is Tuesday and we are off to the races (ie computers and art). We are having a blast in our elective classes this year. I think it is safe to say that all of the students LOVE PE and enjoy our other classes like art, computers, music, and library.
On Friday we have our first class party AND our first class field trip.
In addition, Friday is the last day of our first quarter! Can't believe it! We will be having parent teacher conferences and report cards coming out next week.
Class Party is from 2-3pm. Thanks to much to Amber Lawson and Kim Parsons who are our room moms and they are organizing the whole party! We are looking forward to it. Thanks to all those who are bringing in things to share as well and coming in to help out.

Student lunch with extra snacks and water bottle
closed toed shoes
Wearing a jacket (weather changes drastically at the beach)
We have 9 parents/guardians coming on this first trip and we are excited! Drivers be here at 8:30. Plan to be back at school around 1pm. Thanks to all those who have volunteered and turned in all of the paperwork that goes into being a driver and chaperone.
