Welcome to February!
We will be collecting shoe boxes during the month of February! We need 2 for each student! One will be used to make our valentine's day mailboxes starting next Monday so please, please get those in ASAP!
We are also collecting the 100th day posters which are due Tuesday Feb 2nd so that we can celebrate the 100th day of Kindergarten this Wednesday Feb 3rd.
Tuesday is also Groundhog Day so we will be looking to see if he sees his shadow or not!
This week curriculum:
Letter of the week: U
Sight Words of the week: she, three
Math: We are starting our new chapter and this week we will be focusing on adding and sequence!
Language Arts: We are finishing up our work on how weather affects us.
Bible: The story if Elisha the prophet will be told and we will be focusing on the fruit of the spirits as we remember how Solomon prayed for wisdom.
Memory verse: Luke 2:11
Community and Science is wrapping up units on seasons, and calendar skills.
