Hello all.
We are almost done and I still can't believe it! It feels like it just started. I have loved each minute. You all have an amazing student. They are such a blessing to my life!
Tomorrow: Dismissal is at 11:00 am on the field. We have a family/whole school picnic. You can order food through the office (BBQ) or bring a picnic lunch to enjoy with us. People normally bring chairs, blankets and all.This is a great time for the students to run around and sign yearbooks, set up play dates, and say goodbye for the summer. Hope you can join us!
If your student is here with me for lunch, I will be checking them into Crosswalk at noon. Crosswalk will be open till 6pm.
The class brought home a ton of stuff tonight. I NEED NONE back! Keep it at home! Look through it before tossing it! There is some awesome stuff! The students worked on Grammar a lot but not in their grammar books so that is a fun summer activity your student can always freshen up on. They also have room in their science notebooks for experiments this summer if you are feeling adventurous.
Please send back an empty backpack tomorrow to be filled again as well as a normal snack and picnic lunch food.
HUGE thank you to all the parents who helped out with field trips, donating snacks/supplies, working in the classroom, helping out with parties and so much more. The school and I could not do it without you ALL. I really, really appreciate each an every one of you. Thank you, again! Also an extra special thank you to Alissa and Paula, our room parents. They have worked very hard this year and I am so grateful for them. You are rock stars!
