I can't believe it but we are already at the end of our first quarter! Yahoo we are learning so much!
This week:
Our focus is on the letter Nn.
Sight words: name and have. PLEASE please PLEASE be practicing our sight words that we have learned already! I have a list or check the blog for the words.
Language Arts:Learning about Friends. What is a friend? Getting Along.
Math: Numbers to 5. We are starting Chapter 3 in our book.
Bible: Jacob and Esau
Social Studies/Community: Work. Harvest. Fall/Autumn.
Science: Healthy Foods and keeping clean.
Next week:
October 28-Oct 30th Parent Teacher Conferences. I will be sending home reminders. I am looking forward to meeting with all of you. For the students, it is half day. Dismissal at noon. The students will not eat lunch unless they are staying for Crosswalk. Crosswalk will be open each day till 6pm. You may check your student into Crosswalk while you meet with the teacher, me.
October 30th: PJ Day. Please have your student come in their pjs! We are also having our HARVEST party. Our room mom Sally Harn will be sending you information on how to sign up to volunteer as well as sign up to help bring things to the party. Thanks to Megan Tracy who is also helping as a room parent!
We will be sending home the October and November volunteer calendar. PLEASE sign up and help out in the classroom. When we have more help we can do some amazing things! I would love to also show you your student in action. It is really a great hour!
