Weekly Update:

December 8-12th

Week 16

Language Arts:

We will be focusing on the letter Rr this week. We will be learning the sound, words that begin the letter, how to write the letter and so much more. Our sight words this week are this, and do. We will spell them, talk about them, use them in our writing, reading, and get more and more familiar with those words.

Math:

We will be learning shapes. We are working on Chapter 4.

Bible:

We will be studying The birth of Jesus and Sheperds and the Wisemen. Our weekly memory verse is Phil 4:13.

Social Studies/ Science:

We will be learning about Christmas. In science we will be learning all about different kinds of animals and what they need.

Tuesday, December 16^th at 3:15 in Monschke Hall: Carols, Cocoa, and Cookies.The entire school will celebrate together.Please join us for an afternoon of singing and treats. Our class will be singing Away in A Manger.

Wednesday, December 17^th at 10:30am in Monschke Hall: Our Kindergarten Christmas Play.This is an event for your entire family; we encourage everyone to attend.We sent home your child’s lines. Please contact us if you have any questions about how to help your child memorize his or her lines.We are practicing the play and songs in class each day.I will send home information about costumes
