This week- April 28-May2nd

Miss Rickabaugh’s Kindergarten class
April 28- May 2nd

Language Arts: It is TH week. We will learn what those letters sound like when they walk together, find works that use those letters and much more. We continue to read many books as a class, in small groups, in pairs, and individually. Our reading groups are changing shape as our readers are becoming more confident!  Our new sight words are: no, that, came. We will work with those words specifically this week but continue as always to use all of our previous sight words. The students will write in our journals, continue our literacy center rotations, and more daily!
Math: This week we will be reviewing addition and starting subtraction! The students will cross out and elimiate the pictures as we find out the difference between addition and subtraction! We will count by 1s, 2s, 5s, and10s to 100. We will also practice writing numbers 1-30 working on our May calendar.
Bible: This week’s Bible story is called Jesus lives Again. We will sing, recite, discuss, Eph. 4:25, and pray together every day.
